Police Training
Law enforcement officers have varied responsibilities and are often dispatched first in instances of emergency. The ASTI specialty training program provides police officers the experience and insights to elevate public safety.
ASTI trains participants in Israel for the duration of their program, combining unique, real-world experience, site visits and tactics with practical knowledge, so that participants can apply the curriculum from the current threat environment in Israel to their own jurisdictions when they return home to the United States.
Funding
Funds from the State Homeland Security Program, Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), and Emergency Management Performance Grant can all be used to fund integrated training through ASTI. ASTI courses also correlate closely with the FEMA Core Capabilities that serve as the basis for many of the DHS grant programs.
ASTI staff is available to provide guidance on funding requests. Contact us for more information.
