Fire Training
Called on to assist in many situations, fire-fighters respond to a wide variety of calls and typically triage with other local or federal agencies on site. The ASTI program immerses fire fighters in on-the-ground training in Israel to prepare for emergency situations and provide strategies for collaborating effectively with other agencies on the ground.
Funding
Funds from the State Homeland Security Program, Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), and Emergency Management Performance Grant can all be used to fund integrated training through ASTI. ASTI courses also correlate closely with the FEMA Core Capabilities that serve as the basis for many of the DHS grant programs.
ASTI staff is available to provide guidance on funding requests. Contact us for more information.
