Our Friends
Since 2004, ASTI has trained more than 1,100 participants in organizations across the globe. ASTI works with emergency responders, government decision-makers, and private sector personnel to provide advanced security, first responder and medical training, based on battle-tested methods and techniques learned from conflict in Israel.
ASTI’s program is recognized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
“The information and ASTI’s delivery of its content was invaluable. Terrorism has become a social and political platform which it’s participants deliver horrible acts and violations on every aspect of society. By delivering a socially conscious and meaningful training opportunity, ASTI should be regarded as a primary destination in everyone’s public safety program.”
Douglas Young, Staff Battalion Chief, All Hazards Coordinator- Fire, Santa Clara Fire Department/OES
“I found my training with ASTI life-enriching and invaluable for the betterment of law enforcement in my community.”
Steve Sellers, Chief of Police, Albemarle County Police Department
“Two months after returning from the ASTI curriculum in Israel, the Austin Fire Department responded to a terrorist event. Joseph Stack intentionally detonated his home and flew his private airplane into the IRS building. Fortunately, the lessons learned from the ASTI experience were fresh in our minds during this multi-jurisdictional response from local, state and federal resources and the incident was successfully mitigated with only one civilian casualty.”
Matthew Rush, Lieutenant, Austin Fire Department
“This training was extraordinary and demonstrated a national model of readiness. Israel is uniquely qualified to provide real life experiences first responders face daily. This trip was a highlight of my public safety career.”
Kevin Frazier, Bomb Squad Commander, Montgomery County Maryland
