Who we are
ASTI is dedicated to providing advanced security, first responder and medical training, based on battle-tested methods and techniques learned from conflict in Israel. ASTI develops immersive training courses for U.S. emergency responders, emergency management personnel, government decision-makers, and private sector personnel to obtain practical experience to better address issues of terrorism, school safety, mass casualties, cybersecurity and critical infastructure in the United States.
What we do
The Advanced Security Training Institute (ASTI) is an American nonprofit organization. Founded by Yisroel Stefansky, a recognized expert in practical disaster response, ASTI’s mission is to ensure the safety and security of American citizens. Since 2004, ASTI has trained more than 1100 participants in 80 organizations, across 7 states and 7 Federal Agencies.
What we offer
ASTI currently offers two training programs. The integrated training course is designed to bring personnel in various departments across local, state and federal agencies together, to identify and respond to threats or emergency events. ASTI also offers specialty training programs that equip police, fire, and medical personnel for the unique professional challenges they face during emergency response.
Sessions typically include 20-30 participants, and are led by a team of instructors comprised of emergency response, security and first response teams with decades of experience in intelligence, tactical response and care, cybersecurity, and infrastructure protection.
ASTI trains participants in Israel for the duration of their program, combining unique, real-world curriculum, site visits and tactics with practical knowledge.
